CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT RELATING TO
THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF THE REDWOOD TIMBER MERCHANTS GROUP OF COMPANIES
Clarification Announcement
It has come to the company`s attention that it has been incorrectly assumed that
following the announcement by the provisional liquidators of Pamodzi Gold
Limited that Aurora Empowerment Systems (Proprietary) Limited ("Aurora") is the
preferred bidder for Pamodzi Gold Orkney (Proprietary) Limited, that Aurora
intends injecting this asset into Cenmag.
Cenmag, in conjunction with Aurora, wish to advise Cenmag shareholders that this
is not correct, that Cenmag is continuing with the transaction announced on SENS
on 2 July 2009 and 14 July 2009, in terms of which, pursuant to the disposal of
the existing business within Cenmag and the change in control, Aurora will
nominate Cenmag as the purchaser of the Redwood Timber Merchants Group of
Companies ("the Redwood Timber Merchants Group"), which acquisition will be
presented to the shareholders of Cenmag for approval.
Renewal of Cautionary Announcement
Pursuant to the announcements on 02 July 2009 and 14 July 2009, shareholders are
advised to continue to exercise caution in dealing in the company`s securities
until such time as an election has been made by Aurora to nominate Cenmag as the
purchaser of the Redwood Timber Merchants Group and the associated pro forma
financial effects of the acquisition have been announced on SENS.
