VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT - COMPLETION OF LISTING ON THE ALTERNATIVE EXCHANGE
("ALTX") OF THE JSE
Shareholders and potential investors are referred to the SENS announcement made
on 24 August 2009, in relation to the proposed secondary listing of MAS on the
AltX of the JSE. MAS is pleased to announce that it has this morning
successfully completed its secondary listing on the AltX as envisaged.
The Company is of the view that the secondary listing will add significant value
to the Company`s shareholders. Together with the existing listing in
Luxembourg, the Company is now well positioned for access to the right capital
markets in order to capture the high quality investment opportunities available
in the Company`s target investment jurisdictions.
The Company wishes to advise shareholders that once the capital raised during
its initial fundraising in Europe and South Africa has been fully invested, the
Company intends to return to the market with a view to raise fresh capital until
a well balanced and well diversified portfolio of assets have been acquired. The
Company will make further announcements to the market on its plans for future
capital raising at the appropriate time.
