APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, Rare is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr William Somerville as
Company Secretary with effect from 2 September 2009, in place of Orco
Management & Finance (Proprietary) Limited.
Mr Somerville was formerly Group Company Secretary of Absa, a position he held
for 12 years until October 2007. He has extensive experience in company
secretarial and corporate governance matters.
