RESIGNATION OF CEO
Notification is hereby given that Sea Kay`s current CEO, Mr. Corne Kruger, has
resigned as Chief Executive Officer and as an Executive Director of the group,
with immediate effect.
As one of the founders of Sea Kay, Mr. Kruger will remain a significant
shareholder in the company.
The board wishes Mr Kruger every success in the future.
Shareholders are advised that Mr Farid Hartnick has been appointed as the
group`s new Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Hartnick is a qualified quantity surveyor with more than 30 years`
experience in the building and construction related industry. He acted as
Commercial Director for Stocks Building Africa and also served on the Executive
Committee. He was responsible for the group`s cash flow management, guarantee
facilities and as an Executive Committee manager played a strong role in
directing policy and strategy for the Group.
He has extensive hands-on experience in successfully managing multiple
subsidiaries. Apart from his vast experience in the building and related
industry, he has a good working knowledge of the challenges of affordable
housing, having been previously accountable for one of those business units.
