EXTENTION OF TRADING HALT
Shareholders are advised that with reference to the trading halt of the Company
dated 7 September 2009 and in accordance with the ASX Rules, the following
announcement has been published by the Company and implemented by the ASX.
"VOLUNTARY TRADING SUSPENSION REQUEST
Firestone Energy Limited requests that the current trading halt be extended into
a voluntary suspension as the Company continues to work on finalising an
announcement regarding a capital raising.
The Company is not yet in a position to provide full details to the market.
The Company will provide further details in relation to this as soon as
possible, at which time a request will be made to the ASX to reinstate trading
in the Company`s shares.
The Company is not aware of any reason why a voluntary trading suspension should
not be granted".
