APPOINTMENT OF FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

approval by the Gambling Board of a National Employee Licence, Shareholders are
advised that Mr A Heide has been appointed as Financial Director of the company
with effect from 9 September 2009.
Andreas Heide has been with Phumelela since its formation in October 1997 and
previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer.
The Directors welcome Mr Heide to the Board.
