SALE OF AIG INVESTMENTS TO PACIFIC CENTURY GROUP
Shareholders are advised that the announcement by American International Group
Inc. ("AIG") to sell a portion of its investment advisory and asset management
business to Hong Kong-based Pacific Century Group should have no effect on the
shareholding structure of Blue Financial Services ("Blue").
The business acquired by Pacific Century Group includes private equity funds,
hedge funds, listed equities and fixed income funds which manage approximately
US$89 million for retail and institutional clients in 32 countries across the
globe.
One of these acquired funds is the AIG Global Emerging Markets Fund II (the
"Fund"), a private equity fund with various institutional investors, which
holds approximately 20 percent of the issued shares of Blue.
Neither the Fund structure nor the Fund`s investors are affected by the sale
to Pacific Century Group.
