TRADING STATEMENT                                                               
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a 
listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it is      
satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial       
results for the period to be reported on next, will differ by at least 20% from 
those of the previous corresponding period.                                     
AfroCentric shareholders are accordingly advised that:                          
    1. Earnings per share (EPS) for the year ended 30 June 2009 are expected to 
    be between 80% and 90% higher compared to the EPS for the year ended 30     
June 2008.                                                                  
                                                                                
    2. Headline earnings per share (HEPS) for the year ended 30 June 2009 are   
    expected to be between 70% and 80% higher compared to the HEPS for the year 
ended 30 June 2008.                                                         
                                                                                
    3. Diluted EPS for the year ended 30 June 2009 are expected to be between   
    100% and 110% higher compared to the diluted EPS for the year ended 30 June 
2008.                                                                       
                                                                                
    4. Diluted HEPS for the year ended 30 June 2009 are expected to be between  
    90% and 100% higher compared to the diluted HEPS for the year ended 30 June 
2008.                                                                       
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been 
reviewed or reported on by AfroCentric`s auditors. The results for the year     
ended 30 June 2009 are expected to be published on or about 25 September 2009.
