ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE REVISED SALIENT DATES AND TIMES OF THE ODD LOT
OFFER
1. Introduction
Netcare shareholders are referred to the announcement and circular dated
Friday, 14 August 2009, proposing, inter alia, an odd lot offer ("the odd
lot offer") to Netcare shareholders holding less than 100 shares in
Netcare. Shareholders approved the necessary ordinary and special
resolutions relating to the odd lot offer at the general meeting held on
Monday, 7 September 2009.
Due to a delay in the registration of the special resolutions with the
Companies and Intellectual Property Registration Office ("CIPRO"), the
company wishes to advise shareholders of the revised salient dates and
times in respect of the odd lot offer.
2. Revised salient dates and times
The revised salient dates and times in respect of the odd lot offer are
as follows:

Last day to trade in order to participate in the
odd lot offer Friday, 9 October
Shares trade ex the odd lot offer Monday, 12 October
Forms of election and surrender (green) to be Friday, 16 October
received by the transfer secretaries by 12:00 on
Odd lot offer closes at 12:00 on Friday,16 October
Record date of the odd lot offer Friday, 16 October
Dematerialised shareholders will have their
accounts held at their CSDP or broker updated in
respect of the odd lot offer on or about Monday,19 October
Cheques or electronic transfers in respect of
certificated shareholders posted or effected
against surrender of documents of title on or
about (see note 2) Monday, 19 October
Results of the odd lot offer released on SENS on Monday, 19 October
Results of the odd lot offer published in the
press on Tuesday, 20 October
Notes:
1. The above dates and times are subject to amendment. Any such
amendment will be released on SENS.
2. Payment will be made within three business days of receipt if
received by the transfer secretaries after 12:00 on the record date.
3. Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised
between Monday, 12 October 2009 and Friday, 16 October 2009, both
days inclusive.
