CHANGES TO THE SIMMERS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited
shareholders are advised that the independent non-executive chairman of Simmers
has received and accepted the resignations of the following directors, with
effect from Saturday, 19 September 2009:
- Mr Siviwe Luthando Bongani Mapisa (non-executive director and member of the
SHE Committee)
- Mr Stuart Angus Murray (non-executive independent director, a member of the
Audit and Risk and the Human Resources and Compensation Committees and chairman
of the Governance and Nominations Committee);
- Ms Bulelwa Jean Njenje (non-executive vice chairperson and chairperson of
the SHE Committee);
- Ms Ayanda Xoliswa Sisulu (non-executive director); and
- Mr Kevin Peter Edwin Wakeford (non-executive independent director, a member
of the Audit and Risk and Governance and Nominations Committees and chairman of
the Human Resources and Compensation Committee).
