RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are advised that, today, all the resolutions proposed in the notice
of meeting were passed by the requisite majority of shareholders present or
represented by proxy at an annual general meeting of Avusa held at the
registered office of the company.
The special resolution will be submitted for registration at the Companies and
Intellectual Property Registration Office in due course.
Also, as advised in the notice of today`s annual general meeting, Mr M E Ramano,
one of the retiring directors, did not make himself available for re-election at
the meeting. Accordingly, Avusa announces Mr Ramano`s retirement with effect
from the conclusion of today`s annual general meeting as a non-executive
director of the company. The board of directors of Avusa thanks Mr Ramano for
the contribution that he made to the company, and wishes him every success for
the future.
