Alert is currently finalising its results for the year ended 30 June 2009 and
shareholders are advised that it is expected that earnings and headline earnings
per share for the year ended 30 June 2009 are expected to decrease by between
80% and 100% when compared to those of the prior comparative period.
The financial information on which this trading update is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
The company`s results for the year ended 30 June 2009 are expected to be
published on SENS before 30 September 2009.
