UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT                                                       
Shareholders are referred to the trading statement released on SENS on 15       
September 2009. During the course of the audit process, certain adjustments     
became necessary in terms of IFRS 3 in respect of the acquisition of Lethimvula 
Investments Limited subsequent to the trading statement at 15 September 2009.   
In light of the above, AfroCentric shareholders are accordingly advised that:   
    1.   Earnings per share (EPS) for the year ended 30 June 2009 are expected  
         to be between 70% and 80% higher compared to the EPS for the year      
         ended 30 June 2008. It was previously reported that EPS would be       
between 80% and 90% higher compared to the EPS for the year ended 30   
         June 2008.                                                             
    2.   Headline earnings per share (HEPS) for the year ended 30 June 2009 are 
         expected to be between 60% and 70% higher compared to the HEPS for the 
year ended 30 June 2008. It was previously reported that HEPS would be 
         between 70% and 80% higher compared to the HEPS for the year ended 30  
         June 2008.                                                             
    3.   Diluted EPS for the year ended 30 June 2009 are expected to be between 
85% and 95% higher compared to the diluted EPS for the year ended 30   
         June 2008. It was previously reported that diluted EPS would be        
         between 100% and 110% higher compared to the diluted EPS for the year  
         ended 30 June 2008.                                                    
4.   Diluted HEPS for the year ended 30 June 2009 are expected to be        
         between 80% and 90% higher compared to the diluted HEPS for the year   
         ended 30 June 2008. It was previously reported that diluted HEPS would 
         be between 90% and 100% higher compared to the diluted HEPS for        
the year ended 30 June 2008.                                           
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has been     
audited by AfroCentric`s auditors. The results for the year ended 30 June 2009  
are expected to be published on or about 29 September 2009.
