Pursuant to DR 3.1.4 R, Lonmin Plc confirms that on 28 September 2009 Mr
Theuns de Bruyn, a PDMR, was granted a nil cost award of 1,400 shares under
the Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP Award").
The LTIP Award comprises a 50% retention component, the vesting of which is
not subject to any performance condition. The remaining 50% is subject to
satisfaction of a performance condition comprised of two objective tests,
assessed independently of each other, absolute share price
and relative total shareholder return.
