TRADING STATEMENT
Clicks Group shareholders are advised that the group`s diluted headline earnings
per share for the year ended 31 August 2009 ("the period") is expected to be
between 22% and 27% higher than the previous financial year.
This earnings guidance is higher than the range provided in the group`s interim
results on 30 April 2009 as a result of good second half trading and working
capital management.
Diluted earnings per share for the period is expected to be between 10% and 15%
higher after benefiting from one-off profits from the disposal of businesses and
sale of property in the previous financial year.
Clicks Group`s results for the year ended 31 August 2009 will be released on
SENS on Thursday, 22 October 2009.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the group`s auditors.
