DECLARATION OF AN INTERIM DIVIDEND OF 55 CENTS PER ORDINARY SHARE ("INTERIM
DIVIDEND")
It was mentioned in the announcement of the interim results which was released
on 29 September 2009 that the board of Capitec would consider an interim
dividend of 55 cents per ordinary share in respect of the half year period ended
31 August 2009, on 1 October 2009. The directors are pleased to announce that
this dividend has been declared. Payment will be effected on Monday, 7 December
2009.
The salient dates for the payment of the interim dividend are set out below:
