WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY AND NEW CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Emergent linked unit holders are referred to the cautionary announcements dated
1 July 2009 and 20 August 2009 and are advised that the negotiations referred to
therein have been terminated.
Shareholders are, however, advised that given the fact that the company has been
unable to conclude an acquisition since becoming a shell, the directors are of
the opinion that it is prudent to keep the company under cautionary whilst the
full impact of the termination of the said negotiations is being determined.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when
dealing in the company`s securities until a further announcement is made.
