TRADING UPDATE - 6th October 2009
In terms of the listing requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies
are required to publish a trading update as soon as they are satisfied that
a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the
period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results
for the previous corresponding period. Shareholders are advised that Chrometco
is currently finalising its interim results for the six months ending 31 August
2009 and that both loss per share and headline loss per share for the year then
ended are expected to decrease by between 30% and 40% respectively over the
corresponding period. The change is due to a reduction in overhead costs in
the current period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by Chrometco`s auditors.
