AWARD OF SHARE OPTIONS TO COMPANY SECRETARY
Notice is given in terms of paragraphs 3.63 to 3.65 of the Listings
Requirements of JSE Limited, of the award on 5 October 2009 of options in
respect of the company`s ordinary shares to the company secretary of Gold One,
as set out below.
The options have been granted in terms of the company`s share incentive scheme
at the strike price of ZAR1.93018 cents each. One third of the options vest on
the acceptance date and are exercisable immediately at the discretion of the
holder. The remaining options vest over the next 2 years as follows:
159,333: 12 months after date of acceptance of the award
159,333: 24 months after date of acceptance of the award
The company secretary has been given the prescribed clearance to conduct the
transaction, and he has a 100% direct and beneficial interest in the options.
