TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they become aware that the financial
results for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from
the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that, for the year ended 31 August 2009, Austro
anticipates earnings per share and headline earnings per share to be between 60%
and 80% lower than the previous corresponding period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
audited or reviewed by Austro`s auditors.
The annual financial results announcement will be released on SENS no later than
13 November 2009.
