RESIGNATION OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Nedbank Group and Nedbank Limited advise that Lot Ndlovu has resigned as an
independent non-executive director with effect from 16 October 2009 due to a
potential conflict of interest with other business activities.
Lot was appointed to the boards as a non-executive director in May 1993, became
an executive director from November 1994, and then resumed the role of non-
executive director in May 2005. He served as joint Vice-chairman from May 2004
until the position was discontinued in May 2009. He was Chairman of the Group
Transformation and Sustainability Committee.
Nedbank Group and Nedbank Limited Chairman, Dr Reuel Khoza, said: "During Lot`s
time with the group he served in both senior executive and non-executive
capacities. His role in the area of transformation and human resources in
particular has been a major catalyst in the group`s transformation efforts. For
this and his other contributions to the group we thank him and wish him well for
the future."
