Shareholders are hereby advised that, due to a technical problem in the printing
process, the Notice of Annual General Meeting included in the Annual Report
contained an omission of page number references on page 89 under agenda item 9 -
Special Resolution, "Renewal of authority to repurchase shares", subheading:
"Information and statements relating to this special resolution".
The 2009 Annual Report with the amended page 89 is available on the Company`s
website www.rare.co.za.
An erratum note in this regard has also been posted to shareholders.
