TRADING UPDATE FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 AUGUST 2009
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that
the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least
20% or more from those of the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are hereby advised that the earnings per share and headline
earnings per share for the six months ended 31 August 2009 are expected to be
between 23 % and 33 % higher than for the six month period ended 31 August 2008.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by CIC`s auditors.
The results for the six months ended 31 August 2009 are expected to be announced
on SENS on or before 6 November 2009.
