CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are advised that the company`s annual report, incorporating the
audited financial statements for the year ended 30 April 2009, was dispatched
today and is available on the company`s website (www.elliesholdings.co.za).
The audited financial statements contain the following changes to the reviewed
results which were announced on SENS on Wednesday, 29 July 2009:

These changes have arisen as a result of the contingent liability in
respect of the Megatron deal (as mentioned in the commentary of the
reviewed results announcement) being resolved and a misallocation of an
imputed interest charge between cash flows from operating activities and
cash flows from financing activities.
The annual report contains a notice of Annual General Meeting for
Ellies, which will be held on Wednesday, 25 November 2009 at 94 Eloff Street
Ext, Village Deep, Johannesburg at 12:00pm.
