TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("the JSE"), listed
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become
reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be reported
on will be more than 20% different from those of the previous corresponding
period.
Shareholders are advised that Beige is currently finalising its results for the
period ended 30 September 2009 and that earnings and headline earnings per share
are expected to be between 40% and 50% lower than the restated results for the
prior comparative period.
The decline in earnings per share is largely attributable to the difficult
trading conditions associated with a recessionary economy.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
The company`s results for the period ended 30 September 2009 are expected to be
published on SENS on or about 2 November 2009.
