NO CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are advised that, effective 29 October 2009, the Company`s annual
financial statements for the year ended 28 June 2009 are available on their
website (www.massmart.co.za). The annual financial statements contain no
modifications to the reviewed consolidated results, which were published on 27
August 2009. The Company`s auditors, Deloitte & Touche, have audited the annual
financial statements and their unqualified report is available for inspection at
the Company`s registered office. The annual financial statements will be posted
to shareholders, who have elected to receive them, on Tuesday, 3 November 2009.
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of the Company will be
held on Wednesday, 25 November 2009 at 08:30 at Massmart House, 16 Peltier
Drive, Sunninghill Ext 6, Sandton, to transact the business as stated in the
notice of the annual general meeting.
