CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the following
information is disclosed:
Mr Derek Smythe will be stepping down as an executive director to the Bell
Equipment Limited board ("the Board") with effect from 2 November 2009. This
seat on the Board has been designated for the appointment of an additional
independent non-executive director and, in this regard, the Board has
pleasure in announcing the appointment of Mr John Barton as an independent
non-executive director to the Board with effect from 2 November 2009.
In addition, Mr Peter Bell will step down as alternate director to Mr Gary
Bell. Mr Leon Goosen will, with effect from 2 November 2009, be acting as Mr
Gary Bell`s alternate director.
The Board wishes to express its gratitude to Messrs Derek Smythe and Peter
Bell for their loyal and dedicated service to the Board during their tenures
on this board.
