shareholders are advised that the annual financial statements will be
distributed to shareholders on or about 2 November 2009 and contain no
modifications to the audited results which were published on SENS on 15
September 2009.
Notice of the annual general meeting
Notice is hereby given that the 12th annual general meeting of FirstRand
shareholders will be held at 9:00 on Wednesday 25 November 2009 in the
Auditorium, WesBank Offices, Enterprise Road, Fairlands to transact the
business as stated in the annual general meeting notice forming part of the
annual financial statements.
Shareholders and other interested parties are advised that the annual
financial statements in respect of the year ended 30 June 2009 will be
available on the FirstRand website (www.firstrand.co.za) on 5 November 2009.
