TRADING STATEMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited ("the JSE"), a listed company is required to publish a trading
statement as soon as it becomes aware, with a reasonable degree of certainty,
that the financial results for the next period to be reported on are likely
to vary by more than 20% from the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that a reasonable degree of certainty
exists that the Company`s earnings per share ("EPS") is expected to be
between 40% to 50% higher than the 3.78 cents per share reported in the prior
year. Headline earnings per share ("HEPS") is expected to be between 60% to
70% higher than the 4.04 cents per share, reported in the prior period.
The Company`s financial results for the year ended 31 August 2009 are
expected to be announced on or about 26 November 2009.
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s
external auditors.
