APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS
Further to the announcement on 13 November 2009 in relation to the
appointments of Kris Carton, Steven Van Den Bossche and Jeff Zidel as
additional non-executive directors, the Company is pleased to provide the
following details on the new directors.
Kris Henri Remi Carton (aged 34) is a qualified architect with over 10 years
of experience in the design of commercial properties, initially in Belgium and
Poland. Having worked on projects for Leibrecht & Wood, a Belgian developer
with operations in Poland, Kris co-founded an architectural practice in
Warsaw, Poland ("The Office"). The Office expanded its focus into Romanian
properties, for which Kris was responsible, and developed relationships with a
number of high profile clients. From 2004, The Office increased its scope to
property development and has been instrumental in the design and construction
of a number of retail parks in Romania and Belgium which have been
successfully sold on to financial investors.
Steven Van Den Bossche (aged 43) has over 20 years experience in the
construction and interior design of commercial properties. In 1984, Steven
founded Van Den Bossche Contracting NV, a company specialising in construction
and interior design of bank outlets, developing strong relationships with key
financial institutions. In 2005, the company entered the Romanian property
market. Thereafter, Steven co-founded Bel Rom Real Estate ("Bel Rom"), a
developer of commercial real estate in Romania. To date, Bel Rom has
developed five retail parks and a number of others are under development.
Jeffrey Nathan (Jeff) Zidel has been a successful property developer and
investor and has been involved in all aspects of the property industry for the
last 38 years. He is a former South African Property Owners Association
regional chairman, and three times past president of the Roodepoort Chamber of
Commerce. He is currently a director of Resilient Property Income Fund
Limited, a listed property investment company in South Africa, with assets of
over ZAR 7 billion (EUR 630 million), which is a substantial shareholder in
NEPI.

holds 2.7% of Resilient Property Income Fund Limited. Resilient Property
Income Fund Limited is the 100% parent company of Diversified Property Fund
Limited, which in turn is the 100% parent company of Diversified Properties 2
(Pty) Ltd. Diversified Properties 2 (Pty) Ltd holds 7,392,500 ordinary shares
in the Company, representing 27.59% of the Company`s share capital.
