APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
The board of directors of Sekunjalo ("the board"), is pleased to announce that
Mr. Khalid Abdulla ("Khalid") has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer
("CEO") of Sekunjalo with immediate effect.
Khalid has been with the Sekunjalo Group for more than 10 years having started
as CEO of a health care subsidiary and also successfully served as CEO of the IT
and Capital businesses before being appointed to the position of Group Chief
Financial Officer in 2007. He has vast experience in the Group`s business units
and has established himself as one of the outstanding executives in the
organization.
Khalid is also a director on the boards of various other companies including
British Telecoms SA (Pty) Ltd and Premier Fishing SA (Pty) Ltd.
Furthermore, the board is pleased to announce that Miss Chantelle Ah
Sing("Chantelle") has been appointed as an executive director of Sekunjalo and
will fill the role as the Group`s Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.
Chantelle has been with the Group for the last few years and has served as the
Chief Financial Officer in the healthcare division. Chantelle was formally with
Sekunjalo Health Care (Pty) Ltd and Bioclones (Pty) Ltd.
The board wishes to congratulate Khalid and Chantelle on their new appointments,
and looks forward to their valued contributions.
