APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO THE BOARD OF MURRAY & ROBERTS
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, Murray & Roberts is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Orrie
Fenn as an executive director with effect from 20 November 2009.
Dr Fenn has assumed responsibility for the Construction Products SADC cluster
as well as the development of a Group Housing Strategy. He was previously the
Chief Operating Officer of PPC and former project director for Blue Circle
Cement when owned by Murray & Roberts. Dr Fenn spent seven years at the
Chamber of Mines Research Organisation where he obtained a doctorate in
engineering. He is a member of the SA Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a
fellow of the Institute of Quarrying and holds a government Certificate of
Competency (Mines and Works).
