INCORRECT ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL ON THE LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE
The UK Listing Authority (UKLA) has drawn the Company`s attention to the fact
that the number of shares listed on the London Stock Exchange has not matched
the number of the Company`s shares in issue since at least 2000. We are in
discussion with the UKLA and our advisors to clarify how this arose and identify
how to resolve this situation.
The number of shares recorded as being in issue on the Luxembourg and
Johannesburg stock exchanges is correct.
The Company has only one class of issued share capital, ordinary shares of
US$1.50 each, of which 17,782,325 are in issue with identical voting rights.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company.
