RESIGNATION OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
Anooraq shareholders are advised that the board of Anooraq ("board") has
received and accepted the resignation of Mr Iemrahn Hassen as chief financial
officer and director of the company with effect from Monday, 23 November 2009.
Mr Hassen has resigned from the company to pursue other business interests. The
board extends its appreciation to Mr Hassen for his contribution to the company
and wishes him success in his future business endeavours.
The appointment of a new chief financial officer and director is currently being
considered by the board. The appointment of an interim chief financial officer
and director will be announced shortly.
