DECLARATION OF A SPECIAL DIVIDEND
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, 24 November 2009, Masonite declared a
special dividend of 200 cents per ordinary share for the period 1 January 2009
to 31 October 2009, payable on Monday, 21 December 2009 to holders of ordinary
shares recorded in the books of the Company at the close of business on Friday,
18 December 2009.
In compliance with the requirements of Strate, the following dates are
applicable:
Last date to trade "cum" the special
dividend ("LDT") Thursday, 10 December 2009
Date trading commences "ex" the special
dividend Friday, 11 December 2009
Record date Friday, 18 December 2009
Date of payment Monday, 21 December 2009
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Friday,
11 December 2009 and Friday, 18 December 2009, both dates inclusive.
