TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited ("JSE") Listings Requirements,
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become
reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported upon
differ by at least 20% from that of the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are accordingly advised that the company is expecting earnings per
share and headline earnings per share for the six months ended 30 September 2009
of 2 cents per share respectively, compared to the loss per share and headline
loss per share of 312 cents per share respectively for the previous
corresponding period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
ElementOne`s financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2009 are
scheduled to be released on or about 11 December 2009.
