Changes to the board of directors
In compliance with Rule 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
Sephaku Holdings announces that, with effect from Tuesday 1 December 2009,
Mr Pieter Fourie has been appointed to the board as non-executive director.
Mr Fourie completed his articles at Ross & Co., Chartered Accountants in 1978.
In 1979, he joined Grinaker as an accountant. In 1993, he was promoted to
managing director of the housing division of Grinaker. In 1995, he joined
Blue Circle Cement as marketing director. Subsequent to the acquisition of
Blue Circle Cement by Lafarge, he became managing director of the cement
business unit of Lafarge in 1999. In 2002, Mr Fourie was transferred to the
head office of Lafarge in Paris. In 2003, he left Lafarge and joined Tyco
Trucks as the chief executive officer. Prior to joining Sephaku Cement as
chief executive officer, he pursued various business opportunities in the
cement related market.
