CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, Alexander Forbes Preference Share Investments Limited advises that
Mr Brendan Harmse has been appointed as alternate director to the Chairman of
the Board, Mr Sean Gaskell, with effect from 10 December 2009.
Mr Harmse, a Chartered Accountant (SA), joined GMG Trust Company (SA) (Pty)
Ltd ("GMG") in March 2009 as a shareholder and as a director, operating from
GMG`s Johannesburg office. He has been involved in the South African debt
capital markets since the end of 2001. While employed at Absa Capital, a
division of Absa Bank Limited, and Sasfin Bank Limited, Mr Harmse arranged,
structured, implemented and monitored a number of securitisation and other
structured transactions. As a result, he has valuable experience and skills
in project management, credit approval, collection, monitoring and control
processes relating to a number of asset classes and types of transactions.
