NORTH WINDER REPAIRS
Following the announcement made on 3 December 2009 wherein it was stated that
production will be reduced by approximately 15% for the period 25 November to 15
December 2009 due to the outage of the north winder drum, Palabora is pleased to
report that repairs to the north winder are complete and the winder is currently
hoisting ore.
The winder is running at a reduced hoisting rate as part of the repairs
monitoring process. The winder is expected to be at full hoisting rate within
the next few days.
