CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF BASIL READ HOLDINGS LIMITED

The Board is pleased to announce that Mr. Nigel John Townshend has been
appointed as an Executive Director of Basil Read Holdings Limited with effect
from 1 January 2010.
Mr. Townshend currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at TWP
Holdings Limited.
