CHANGE OF NAME AND REVISED SALIENT DATES AND TIMES
At the general meeting held on 11 January 2010, shareholders approved, inter
alia, the change of the Company`s name from "Zambia Copper Investments Limited"
to "ZCI Limited". Due to delays being experienced, the resolution to approve the
name change has not yet been registered. Shareholders are advised of the revised
salient dates and times pertaining to the name change.

Notes:
1. Shareholders will not be able to dematerialise or rematerialise shares in
"Zambia Copper Investments Limited" after Friday, 19 February 2010 and may
only dematerialise their replacement shares in "ZCI Limited" from Monday, 1
March 2010. Certificated shareholders who surrender their existing
documents of title on or before 12:00 on the record date will have their
new share certificates mailed on or about Wednesday, 3 March 2010.
2. The group`s ISIN number will be changed to BMG9887P1068
3. The above mentioned dates and times are subject to amendment. Any such
amendment will be released on SENS.
4. All certificated shareholders are requested to surrender their existing
documents of title on or before the record date, being Friday, 26 February
2010.
