THE AVENG GROUP ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES
The Aveng Group today announced that Dennis Gammie, the executive director
responsible for business development and strategic projects, has decided
to retire early with effect from 31 March 2010 and will stand down from the
Aveng Limited Board. The Board thanked Mr Gammie for the role he played as
the Group`s previous Financial Director and for his contribution to business
development within the Group.
The Aveng Group also announced that Grinaker-LTA MD Neil Cloete, will leave
the Group by mutual agreement with effect from 28 February 2010. The Board
thanked Mr Cloete for his contribution to Grinaker-LTA.
Eugene Erasmus has been appointed Acting MD of Grinaker-LTA while the company
conducts an in-depth search for a new MD for this business. Mr Erasmus has
been instrumental in the strategic repositioning of Grinaker-LTA, which has
placed the organisation on a sound footing. Mr Erasmus is a member of the
executive management team, a qualified civil engineer and has held numerous
management positions in Grinaker-LTA over the past 30 years.
