TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period
to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that Beget is currently finalising its interim results
for the six months ended 31 October 2009 and it is expected that Beget`s
earnings and headline earnings per share will be a loss of between -0.21 cents
and -0.11 cents per share, which represents a decline from the prior year`s
interim results of between 150% and 170%. The financial information on which
this trading statement is based has not been reviewed by Beget`s auditors.
Recessionary depressed trading conditions prevailed for the first 5 months of
the period but the trend reversed during October and growth continued to
date.with the order book looking healthy.
The interim results for the six months ended 31 October 2009 are expected to be
published on SENS by the end of the month.
