BUSINESS UPDATE
Shareholders are advised that the Group has experienced a challenging trading
period for the quarter ended 31 December 2009, with turnover at R8,8 billion
growing 9.2% on a comparative basis against prior year.
This performance continues to reflect positive volume growth and is strongly
influenced by a significant decrease in food inflation.
The above financial information has not been reviewed or reported on by the
Group`s auditors.
The Group`s financial results for the six months ending 31 March 2010 will be
released on SENS on or about the 12th May 2010.
