Further to the announcement dated 8 February 2010 regarding the payment for the
sale of New First Quantum shares at R522.03 per New First Quantum Share
calculated at a price of GBP43.45 per New First Quantum Share at an exchange
rate of R12.04241, shareholders are advised that payment will be made today, 9
February 2010.
Shares on the JSE will be terminated with effect from the commencement of
business on 10 February 2010.
