CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited,
Zaptronix`s shareholders are hereby notified of the appointments of Paul Reeves
and Neville John Melville as Independent Non-Executive directors to the board,
effective 8 February 2010.
Paul qualified as a chartered accountant in England and completed his MBA in
Finance and Marketing at the University of Cape Town. His has substantial
financial and commercial experience.
Paul has extensive experience in the Technology environment. As the Chief
Financial Officer of CS Holdings Limited he was involved in the transaction
with Bytes Technology Group Limited ("Bytes") during 2005. Subsequently he was
appointed the Managing Director of the Specialised Solutions Division of the
Bytes group. In 2007 he was approached by SAAB Grintek (Pty) Ltd during 2007 to
take up the position of Group Chief Financial Officer. During 2009 he assisted
the shareholders of Masana Technologies (Pty) Ltd in the role of interim Chief
Financial Officer and is currently involved in consultation in the business
support and financial management arenas.
Neville is an admitted Advocate and completed as formal training degrees in BL,
LLB, LLM, the Senior Executive Programme (Harvard Business School) and the
Graduate Diploma in Company Direction (Graduate Institute of Management and
Technology). Neville currently chairs the Task Team on Debt Review appointed by
the National Credit Regulator. He brings a wealth of commercial and legal
expertise.
