Transaction in Own Shares
In accordance with LR12.6.4 SABMiller plc ("the Company") announces that on 15
February 2010 it transferred 5,300,000 ordinary shares of US$0.10 to the
SABMiller plc Employee Benefit Trust at nil cost. These shares were previously
held in treasury and will be used to satisfy awards outstanding under the
Company`s share incentive plans.
Subsequent to the transfer, the Company holds a total of 72,068,338 shares in
treasury. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held
in treasury) is 1,580,817,007.
