FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements dated 28 December 2009
and 29 January 2010 in which they were advised that Faritec was in discussions
with various parties to raise approximately R60 million of funding. These
discussions included discussions with Faritec`s largest shareholder Shoden Data
Systems (Pty) Ltd ("Shoden") and other potential investors. Shareholders are
advised that Faritec is in advanced discussions with Shoden and members of the
Faritec management team in relation to such parties agreeing to partially
underwrite a rights offer of approximately R60 million. Faritec anticipates
releasing an announcement early next week providing full details of the proposed
rights offer. Shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when
dealing in their Faritec securities until the further announcement is made.
