CHANGES TO THE BOARD AND DESIGNATED ADVISOR
In compliance with Section 3.59 (a) and (b) of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are informed that Mr Jan de Wet has resigned as the
Managing Director of the company with effect from 28 February 2010. The Board of
Directors ("the Board") thanked Jan for the valuable contribution he made to the
company and wished him well for the future.
The Board has pleasure in informing shareholders that Mr Musawenkosi (Musa)
Shangase has been appointed as the Managing Director of the company with effect
from 28 February 2010.
Musa worked at Pretoria Portland Cement Company Ltd (PPC) from 1993 to 1995 as
the Business Development Manager. He was appointed in 1995 as the General
Manager and then the Managing Director in 1996 for Build-war Market. Musa
worked as a Sales & Marketing Manager at PPC from 1998 until 2005 and as General
Manager Business Development at Saint-Gobain Construction Productions from 2006
until 2009. Musa was appointed as the Sales and Marketing Director of African
Brick (Pty) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company on 1 October 2009.
Shareholders are further advised that the company has appointed Grindrod Bank
Limited as Designated Advisor with effect from 1 March 2010.
