TRADING UPDATE
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20%
from that of the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the six months ended 31
January 2010 by management has indicated that earnings per share and headline
earnings per share are expected to be between 9% and 19% higher than the
previous corresponding period amount of 0.7 cents. Adjusted earnings per share,
which equates to headline earnings excluding amortisation charges and unrealised
foreign exchange losses on forward exchange contracts and group loans, is
expected to be between 50% and 60% higher than the previous corresponding period
amount of 3.1 cents.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by SecureData`s auditors.
SecureData`s interim results are expected to be published on SENS on or about 17
March 2010.
